I'm just curious what group of people were asked about #10. Most air bnb's still are not corporate owned as led to believe. I think the confusion is perhaps these days when a reservation is made, you will talk to an air BNB representative. These reps do work for corps. Most homes are still privately owned and considering the financial state and the unstable economical hardships that gave forced many prices raises on every product I can think of, then if course it will hit the private owned sector garder than a franchise such as Marriott and holiday inn and the rest. Air BNB is still the better value for the money and prices have not really gone up that much. I am a self employed cleaning contractor. Over 90% of my jobs come from the largest property management companies that represent these privately owned homes. And at an average rate of these homes for a 3 bed 2 bath for around $250 per night as a whole and no charge per guest in the tourist area I live and work, it is still the best dea. Motels always charge by #of people, not per room. Plus the money goes to the big corps that pay employees as little as possible can get by with instead of the smaller business people that actually pay better than these larger companies. I have worked in the hospitality industry over 35 years. I have worked for the major corp and the private sectors as well. Hands down air bnb is still the better way to go.
